About the Artist…

Steph Eaton is a visual artist based in Milverton, Ontario, originally from Montreal, Quebec. With a background in Fine Arts from the University of Waterloo (BA, 2015), she began her creative journey through drawing mediums such as conte and charcoal, focusing on realism. Over time, her artistic practice evolved into acrylic painting, where she found deeper connection to her work - creating dreamlike, textured landscapes that transport viewers into ethereal, otherworldly scenes.

Blending soft, delicate transitions with bold palette knife textures, Steph’s paintings exist in a space between reality and imagination. Her work often features elements of nature - wild forests, serene animals, quiet pathways - as well as intricate architectural forms like castles and hidden cottages, evoking a sense of nostalgia and wonder. Inspired by her love of fantasy novels, her travels, and personal reflections, she creates art that feels like an escape…a place of warmth, magic, and familiarity amidst life’s everyday chaos.

Beyond her artistic practice, Steph is also a strength coach, balancing her love for movement and wellness with her creative expression. Through her paintings, she hopes to offer a moment of calm, curiosity, and connection for those who engage with her work.

Steph’s latest collection will be on display at Stratford’s Art in the Park from the months of May to September, where she is excited to share her evolving body of work, connect with fellow artists, and bring more dreamscapes to life.
